PONTIAC RV is a family-owned and operated business that has been selling and servicing RVs for over 40 years. Ken and Gail Kafer started the business in the late 1970s. The first location started out of a garage in Division street in Pontiac, IL. After a few years, they moved to their second location on the corner of Ladd and Route 116. In 1989, their two sons, Kent and Kevin joined the dealership full-time. Eventually, they ran out of room at their location and moved out to the interstate. They bought 10 acres and built a parts store and 3 garage bays. As time went on, the dealership continued to grow and more land was purchased and additional service bays were added. In 2000, more family was added to the dealership as Ken and Gail’s daughter, Courtney, and her husband started working full-time. In 2004, the Kafers made another investment in their company and built one of the largest showrooms in the country. The 108,000 sq foot showroom allows for over 100 RVs to be displayed on the side. The new showroom also has 17 customer orientation bays.
