After a long survey 3 miles upstream, mapping new leads, we returned from the long slog downstream to P. Strange Falls where the entire river disappears into a piracy in the chert layer. This little side trip gave us a quick adrenaline rush and brightened up the spirits of those on the trip as we were approaching 13 hours underground and still had to climb the 82' Quinlan Entrance pit to get out.
