The Tarot deck is one of the mainstays of the Western mystical tradition. But some facts about its symbolism have remained uncovered until now—especially about the 22 cards known as the Major Arcana. Taken from French esotericism, these findings cast important new light on the relation of the Major Arcana to the Hebrew alphabet and sacred geometry.
