Adding a Smartphone Remote Shutdown and Eco Mode buttons to our Generator allows me to remotely shut down the generator when the AC is no longer needed, or the batteries are sufficiently charged... As a free side effect, I now have a Hour-Meter and a Oil-Hour-Meter.

The same should work for any make and model of generator with a Shutdown/Eco switch. If your generator has an electric start, you should be able to tap into that button as well!

What do you want to see next? Remote Start, AC Current Meter, RPM, Temperature???
