In the celebration of Beltane I share with you a song of mine written in the ancient mother tongue language called Proto-Celtic, that was was spoken by our Bronze Age ancestors 4000 years ago across the islands of what is now Britain but which is no longer a living language.

Singing in this language has become a deeply important and potent way for me to connect to the ancestral memory of my blood and bones and reclaim my knowing and place as an indigenous daughter of this land.
