A brand debut on the channel. Funny how this is one of the most popular brands in the world but never found an opportunity to feature one of its cars. Let's hope this is the first of many.

Let's touch a bit on the car. This car attracted me with its pricing, I mean VW does not need an introduction anywhere in the world. You know it has been a reliable source for passenger vehicle consumers over the years. This car is almost perfectly priced considering current car prices. You do not necessarily get an empty shell with what comes standard, however, to make it look and feel like the one we are looking at here, you have to add at least R91 000 taking the price to around R577 000 (Configured on VW website 05 June 2022).

This will make you ask yourself if its really well priced with so many options? If I remove current outliers in my mind (meaning Haval and Chery) and focus on the fact that people have proven to go for VW despite complaining about car prices, this is probably the best value for money (from looks to practicality and how it drives) VW product on offer. As for the best value for money you can get in the market for the top spec with all options in the segment, I am not entirely sure about that!

Prices as standard:

1.0 TSI Life - R429 900
1.0 TSI Style - R464 100
1.0 TSI R-Line - R486 100
