The discussion on diffusion in a weakly ionized plasma in the presence of a magnetic field has been continued, and it is said that collisions are required for diffusion in the presence of a magnetic field. When there are collisions, particles migrate across B to the walls along the gradients. They do this through a random-walk process. An expression of the diffusion coefficient has been derived in the case of fully ionized plasma.
