We often imagine celebrities with teams of assistants, chefs, trainers, and nannies to help keep up with their often-demanding schedules and responsibilities, especially as parents. But there are some celeb parents who not to hire a team for childcare and choose to be as hands-on as possible. Whether that means no childcare, the occasionally babysitter or a part time nanny, these celebrities have made their roles as parents as their priority and prefer to raise their children themselves, without outside help.
For some parents it’s a matter of safety, like for Cardi B who says she can’t trust people around her children, or Nicki Minaj who had her son and chose not to have a nanny for health and safety reasons.
For majority of these no-nanny celebrity parents, family has become their go-to means for childcare, whether it’s aunts and uncles or grandparents, there’s a village of relatives helping these parents make it through the sleep deprivation.
Even if they change their minds about hiring some help as the realities of parenthood sets in, it doesn’t stop these parents form remaining just as active in their kids’ lives.
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with a little help, especially as parenting is one of the most demanding responsibilities, so props to all parents raising their kids with or without nannies.
