Mario Party DS is a bittersweet game for me. It is one of the games that I personally have played the most of, and it has a lot of really neat, fun bits of side content that stand out, especially since this game is on a handheld and not a console like the other Mario Party games. However, Mario Party DS is the last game to be developed by Hudson Soft, the original developer of this series before they would inevitably pass this series on to its new developer, ND Cube. So, this Mario Party DS marks the end of an era for the series - but how does Mario Party DS fare when compared to its console counterparts? Well, find out in today's episode of Mark's Rec Room: the long-awaited Mario Party DS retrospective. Thanks so much for watching these videos, it's really been cool getting to gush about these games that have been a huge part of my multiplayer gaming experiences. This series is planned to continue with the ND Cube games, but honestly, those videos will likely take some time because I think that they'll need to be structured differently since those games are radically different from the Hudson Mario Parties, and I'm not sure exactly how I want to tackle them just yet.
