Social media users have reacted strongly to footage of the "infinitely more skilled" breakdancer who lost to Raygun in the Olympic qualifiers.

Molly Chapman, a b-girl representing Wollongong and the Illawarra, has been dancing in the styles of Hip Hop and Breaking since 2014.

Chapman, aka Holy Molly, finished 79th out of 80 at the World Championships, where she competed against Raygun (Rachael Gunn), who finished 64th, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Chapman later lost to Gunn at the Oceania Championships, where Gunn secured her spot for the Olympics.

A video clip of Chapman breaking at the Red Bull BC One event last year has gone viral in the wake of Raygun's underwhelming showing at the Paris Olympics.

"This is still not an Olympic sport, however this is infinitely more skilled than what Raygun did," wrote one X user reacting to the footage of Chapman.

"The AOC needs to examine the qualifying process. Something is awry," wrote another.
