At the start of April, I headed over to Silverstone to film my brother on his second race weekend as part of the BMCRC Rookie 600 championship.

This is Jame's first season of racing, although his history with bikes goes years back to when he got his first moped at 16. His best friend, Jamie, who is also featured in this video, has competed for a number of years and is the 2020 Bemsee Thunderbike Ultra Champion.

James had a great weekend at Silverstone, despite challenging weather circumstances for all and a last-minute decision to take part in the Sunday races, walking away with two podium finishes.

The plan is to follow James as he continues to race. Next up, Snetterton!
