After getting my first taste of the Texas State Fair last year. I had to get fix trying 8 new Fair Food items. Ranging from Deep Fried concoctions of Oatmeal Pies, Bread pudding, and Cajun creole deliciousness. New items also including upgraded takes on desserts, and home cooking staples like Mac and Cheese & Grilled Cheese. Of course the best of best Big Tex likes to offer with his stamp of approval. I tried five 2023 award winners including 3 Savory items and 2 Dessert items.
