Got this case for the ice tower and the 2 fans in it were alway on. The sound was bugging me and I got 2 "Noctua NF-A4x20 5V, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin, 5V Version (40x20mm, Brown)" but still a little loud.
un-solder the wires from the fan shim after cutting the shrink wrap off and solder a 4 pin header to it so I could plug the 2 fans in. I did cut the wires short on the Noctua fans and put freemail header plugs on the ends of them Then shrink wrap around the 4 pin header and plug the 2 fans in and when it boots up the fan's go full speed and will stay like that till install the script. After I did the LED light went green on the fan Shim board.

It fits on there good. The ice tower in that corner were the fan shim is uses that mount. Used the plastic screw to hold that corner down.

Got a photo of it before I put the case back on it.

Can zoom in to that corner to see it a little better.

Got this overclocked too 2.147 GHz. This keeps it cool good and so fair have not seen the fan go on without running a stress test on it.

The stress test showed this on the command line in part.

So can see how it was low and never went over 64.0'C.
