A series of wolf attacks in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh has left around 10 people dead and dozens more injured since July 2024. The pack of wolves seem to be targeting young children since only one of the victims killed was an adult. Panic has spread through more than 30 villages in and around the locations of the attacks. Local officials have organised an armed team to hunt for the wolves and at least four of the animals have been captured.
