In the Netherlands, the Vitaal Vechtdal initiative has been set up within the Province of Overijssel. This initiative aims to help the population to focus more on their 'Positive Health', so that they become less ill and make less use of the expensive health care system. As a result, overall health costs in the region can be reduced.
