WE are going to be making a barn door today! This is a unique build where we use tongue and groove boards for the main part of the door. The grooves, lightweight material, and simple slide in design makes this an EASY diy project that pretty much anyone can do.

The materials list in the video will also demonstrate just how simple this barn door build is - there are barely any tools needed.

The tongue and groove boards are 1in x 6in x 8ft and then cut to the height needed to cover the door.

Making this wooden sliding door was the best thing we could have done for our laundry room as we now have so much extra room without having a standard swinging door in the way. Eventually we will finish remodeling the laundry room and push some of the machines back more into the wall. More to come on that later! Subscribe!
