XL-3 was recomended by torque converter rebuilders as a quick fix for the typical clutch shudder. It is still being used but with my experience it just makes it worst. It fixes it temporarly for about a month or so but you will get the vehicle back for converter engagement issues and on some vihicles with the "P0741 TCC system or stuck off" touble code.
Just be aware of it.
