The GoPro Hero 12 Black just received a substantial firmware update that adds some handy new features and capabilities. The December 2023 firmware update now allows you to name your custom presets, which I have wanted to do since GoPro introduced custom presets several years ago. The capabilities of the GoPro Hero 12 Black also go a boost when using the Max Lens Mod 2.0 including the ability to use Auto Boost stabilization. The version number of this firmware is labeled Version 2.0.
