Matthew North and Michael Webb - 'Shooting Star' Live in Plymouth

At the end of 2023 I was offered a solo gig at the Nowhere Inn in Plymouth as a warm up to a gig I had in London. For ages I had wanted to do something electronic and with little notice I called up Michael and asked if he fancied doing it and in 10 days from that call I had programmed a full set of songs to go with my acoustic set that was done in the first half. The Set was a mixture of our own songs and cover, some covers were songs we did in the 1993 when we started, others were a lot more recent.

I have been a massive fan of Tom Baily and all his work most famous being The Thompson Twins. Shooting Star is a song from his most recent solo album 'Science Fiction' I have performed in a number of times in my acoustic set and I decided to do an electronic version for this gig.
