Long Island vs. Virginia Tech: The No.15 Virginia Tech Hokies took care of business in a big way with their 98-50 win over the Long Island Sharks. Elizabeth Kitley & Cayla King got the Hokies off to a hot start, scoring 11 of her 17 points and 9 of her 21 points in the first half, respectively. Georgia Amoore finished with 10 points and 14 assists in the win as the Hokies connected on a Cassell Coliseum-record 17 three-pointers in the win. On defense, the Hokies were relentless, holding the Sharks to just 34% shooting from the floor and scoring 23 points off of 19 LIU turnovers.
