On June 9th, get ready for a RATT invasion of epic proportions with the release of their limited edition five-album box set, The Atlantic Years: 1984-1991, via BMG, in partnership with Rhino Entertainment!
This box set celebrates the band's incredible legacy of releasing an album almost yearly filled with certified hit songs. Their first Atlantic release, Out of The Cellar, in 1984, featured songs with undeniable hooks, and "Round And Round," "Wanted Man," and "Lack of Communication" were proof of that. Invasion of Your Privacy was released in 1985 and saw a more slick and polished-sounding album with bonafide hits like "Lay it Down" add "You're in Love." Dancing Undercover followed in 1986 as RATT toured North America and released the singles "Dance," "Slip of The Lip," and "Body Talk." In 1988's Reach for the Sky saw RATT return to the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 album charts, peaking at No. 17. Driven by the bluesy hit and MTV favorite "Way Cool Jr." Reach For The Sky was also certified platinum and became RATT's fourth album in a row to move well over a million copies. Detonator was released in 1990 during a turbulent musical time but was still successful, peaking at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 and going gold.

For RATT fans, RATT n'Roll has always been about sticking to your guns. It's about music laced with attitude, fuel-injected riffs, and memorable vocal melodies. Throughout their career, RATT's style has never wavered from that mantra of upholding the integrity of the music and their live performance. Fans of the band look for that constancy, and RATT always delivers! RATT is and will always be Stephen Peary [vocals], Juan Croucier [bass], Robbin Crosby [guitar], and Bobby Blotzer [drums], a band who delivered undeniable hits songs and stage shows.

The Atlantic Years: 1984-1991 features all five RATT albums remastered on 180g black vinyl, a rare "Nobody Rides For Free" seven-inch single, a replica tour book (featuring rare and never-before-seen photos from RATT's archives), 11"x17" "Wanted" poster, bumper sticker, replica backstage pass, and guitar pick in a custom lift top box. The CD set features all five studio albums in a side-loading box. Pre-orders can be found here: https://lnk.to/rattatlanticyearsPR

I had the pleasure of speaking with RATT lead vocalist and ring leader Stephen Pearcy for a rousing and jaw-dropping interviewing. We discussed RATT's rich legacy and history and got a first-hand look at the box set's contents. Stephen takes us down memory lane for the making of RATTs first video, "Round and Round," and who "jacked" some of Robbin Crosby's guitars while he was in hospice. Stephen teases a few upcoming surprise releases, including their first EP on vinyl, a live release, RATT demos from the vault, including a song "Reach for the Sky" written for Out of the Cellar but never released, and the status of his next solo album.
