This documentary, which has been years in the making, gives voice to women who were allegedly abused by Andrew Tate and takes viewers inside Tate’s compound in Romania, where he was recently arrested. The hour also delves into the so-called “loverboy method” that was sold by Tate to thousands of young men as a tool for gaining influence over women and that Romanian authorities now allege he used to recruit and manipulate vulnerable women to perform pornographic content. The viewer is also taken inside Tate’s “War Room,” where reporter Matt Shea questions him on his public stances on the treatment of women which have become a central part of his public persona and business.

It follows a recent exclusive from VICE World News online (https://www.vice.com/en/article/bvm43..., which revealed for the first time that Tate had been investigated for rape and physical assault by UK authorities in 2015, and interviewed the two women who reported Tate at the time. Both the article and documentary give one of the first public platforms for these survivors to tell their stories, and explain their experiences with Andrew Tate and the UK justice system. His rapid rise to fame on social platforms made Tate one of the most dangerous men on the internet. Now, VICE World News is giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the real-world consequences of Tate’s digital infamy.
