Kevin Hamilton on twitter asks, “The big one is who killed his mom…Barry not even being curious is a bit weird.” Now you did answer your own question in the tweet…it was probvabl;y professor zoom, like it is in the comics and the flash tv show. Zoom is a scientist from the future who hero worshiped Flash so much he gave himself speedster powers, and long story short he becomes a villain and goes back in to kill Barry's mother.

If they ever do revisit this franchise,I’m sure he will be the villain in the sequel. And Bat Bunny has a great follow up: “Barry’s dad being home doesn’t automatically mean Nora would’ve survived. If the thief/intruder snuck in he probably would’ve just killed them both.”

Yeah, so Barry reasons that the intruder would;it would have come in if he knew the house was occupied. His mom was listening to music really loud, but whatever. I’m betting that this is the lie Barry told himself, that his mother would have been safe if only his dad would have been there to protect her. Or, more precisely, his dad would not have been blamed for the murder.

Iut is super weird though that Barry concots this whole idea to move tomatoes up to another shelf, instead of just going back to the moment of his mom’s murder to see who the killer was..then years later he could catch the killer. It’s pretty clear he never did this so the movie could set up Zoom being the villain in a sequel that will never come. But more on that a little later.

Jim asks, “How did flash get his powers back from Clara in the sky? Just because chemicals hit him before?” Yes, that’s it. On the surface, it’s silly comic book logic that they could replicate the exact amount of chemicals that randomly hit Barry when he got his powers–but the same thing does happen in the flashpoint comic. I’ll chalk this up to what Barry says in the movie–that some events are just fated to happen.

Isra Z has a great question that we talked about in our easter egg video: “Why his Lightning changes from white (in JL) to yellow? Is it because of his new suit?” Actually, I think his lightning is blue in justice league and suicide squad, because its the color of the speed force. And his lighting is still blue in this movie, when he makes the cushion fort. So yes, it's because of the suit. The new suit allows him to dissipate the energy he charges up, so that same process must turn the lighting yellow. While other Barry doesn’t have this suit, so his lighting is still the color of the speed force.

Crap bag asks, “Why young Barry didn't stop the shovel from falling and making noise?” Because he is an idiot.

Baitha na on youtube asks, “Why would they think that one kryptonian that just got their powers could defeat another kryptonian that had at least a day more exposure to the sun and militarily training?” Yeah, you’re right. They should have just given up and never tried.

Nah but seriously, they had to do something. And kara had been on earth for a while, so that explains how she could adapt so fast. She did…really get the hang of her powers quick though.

Brude Lau says, “Why did they have to find KAL-EL after restoring Barry’s speed ? Cause imagine that That don’t make NO SENSE.”

Doug: Yeah, that don;t make any sense.

Niegher does the question. Obviously you know why they had to find kal-el…maybe you’re asking why they waited till after finding him to restore bary’s powers. Barry was trying to make events go the way they did in his world, where Superman defeated Zod. and Remember, Barry was useless at the battle of metropolis. I think he only tries to get his power back after because they’re ot even sure if Kara is going to help them.

Andrew Dickens says, “Even if the dad was at the store he was still there very close like not even 20 seconds to when she was stabbed so it still could be him. He was at the store when it was pinned on him and he was at the store when he came and found her having just been stabbed - it proved nothing.”
