Quantum Leap is hitting on all cylinders. The new Sam Beckett (Ben) makes his first leap, and it was into a female rocker at a concert in the year 1986. He's in a dressing room and immediately sees that he's leaped into the body of a female rock star and that’s where we get left with the trailer.

So, ill say right now.. the 80s is going to be a common jump point for this series. For 1, it’s the time frame that the original Quantum Leap happened, 2. The majority of the fandom are 80s kids, and 3. It’s the coolest decade ever.
LIke, when this show was on in the 90s, one of the most popular decades at the time was the 1950s. And I know for a fact that Sam leaped into 1957 7 times during the series., cause I checked.. . So, all im saying is expect a lot of 1980s leaps.

Also, this show will probably have a lot of present day action as well. Mainly in the Science Lab - Since we have a team of quantum leap scientists working to get both Sam and Ben back to the present..
