Join us for a quiet walk in Los Feliz Heights, a beautiful old neighborhood of Los Angeles, featuring the incredible Ennis House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, secret stairs, and many Spanish revival style mansions.

The Los Feliz Heights Steps were constructed 100 years ago, in 1924. We climb these and the Mosaic Stairs, along with our sweet dog, Summer. Also built in 1924, we take a good look around the outside of the Ennis House.

Los Feliz, located immediately to the east of Hollywood, was home to many of the original pioneers of filmmaking, and it's not hard to imagine stepping back in time as you walk these winding streets up in the hills overlooking Los Angeles. There are views of downtown L.A., the nearby Griffith Observatory, and the surrounding neighborhoods.

ROUTE:
Starting on Los Feliz Boulevard, we walk up North Berendo Street, then climb the Los Feliz Heights Steps from Cromwell Avenue to Bonvue Avenue. After continuing a short distance on Bonvue, we come to the Mosaic Stairs that take us to Bryn Mawr Road, then yet more stairs up to Glendower Avenue. We follow this road all the way around the famous Ennis House, perhaps Frank Lloyd Wright's most recognizable Los Angeles creation, then back down Bonvue Avenue and the Los Feliz Heights Steps to finish on Cromwell Avenue.

Relax and enjoy!
