Throughout this video, you'll see me take you step-by-step through the part of the engineering design process starting with defining the problem, collecting information, and analyzing ideas and products, and innovations from others. Finally, I show my prototype only for my personal use and presenting it as part of the feedback process. I'll show you how I am planning on utilizing aluminum extrusions and sheets to create a sturdy frame, foam core to provide insulation, and HDPE inner panels to ensure durability and water resistance.

My inspiration for this project comes from the awesome camper product by @redtailoverland4067 utilizing their patented and innovative hinge technology. I was also inspired by @OverlandUnderBudget DIY camper build and the hard shell camper he is trying to make. I'll also discuss the unique hinge technology (Patent No. 11,130,437) developed by Redtail Overland and how I plan to adapt it to my DIY project.
