Discover this world famous and renowned saint who lived an exemplary life in Lebanon. Born May 8, 1828 in the Maronite village of Bekaakafra, the highest village in Lebanon. He died on December 24, 1898.
His tomb is in the Saint Maroun d'Annaya monastery.
During his life Charbel Makhlouf performed many miracles but even after his death the miracles continued. At the end of the video I will show you the miraculous photo where Saint Charbel appears.

Father Charbel was beatified on December 5, 1965 and canonized on October 9, 1977.

Prayer to ask for the intercession of Saint Charbel

God, infinitely holy and glorified in your saints,

You who inspired the holy monk and hermit Charbel to live and die in a perfect likeness to Jesus, granting him the strength to detach himself from the world in order to make the heroism of the monastic virtues triumph in his hermitage: poverty, obedience and chastity, we beg you to grant us the grace to love you and to serve you in his example.

Almighty Lord, who has manifested the power of Saint Charbel's intercession through many miracles and favors, grant us the grace (…) that we implore through his intercession.

This human, artistic and economic adventure will create, beyond the pharaonic site of 1000 statues, a living place, carrying the strength and richness of our culture. An information and documentation center on the High Middle Ages in Breton, the period of the arrival of the Saints, will be a real source of information for all Bretons.
This place will be a permanent stage for musical, theatrical, cinematic and historical re-enactments. A Celtic monastery and its immediate environment will also be reconstructed.

The statue of Saint Charbel is inaugurated on Saturday November 26, 2022.
