here’s the recipe:
* 300g Sivayyan (vermicelli)
* 3 Tbsp butter
* 1/2 cup sugar
CUSTARD:
* 1 Litre milk
* 1 cup Cream
* 1 cup sugar (3/4 cup if you want it less sweet)
* 4 Tbsp custard powder
* 2 Tbsp corn flour

* Crush the vermicelli in to very small pieces and sauté in a pan on medium heat with the butter and sugar for 3-4 mins. Put aside
* ⁠Keep 1/4 cup milk aside and heat up the rest in a pot and heat up on medium heat until barely simmering.
* ⁠Mix the custard powder and corn flour in the 1/4 cup of milk until thoroughly mixed. Then add to the rest of the milk while constantly stirring to avoid making lumps.
* ⁠Once thick, turn off the heat put aside.
* ⁠For assembly. Layer the bottom of your serving dish with half the vermicelli mixture. Then put the custard on top. Then garnish the top with the rest of the vermicelli. Cool before eating
