Chocolate Covered Strawberry Rice Krispies Treats Recipe:

6 Cups Strawberry Rice Krispies
6 Cups Cocoa Krispies (or Cocoa Pebbles)
80 Large Marshmallows (2 10 oz. bags)
6 Tbsp. Salted Butter
3 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
Red Food Coloring
Green Grass Bento/Sushi Dividers
(Found at Daiso, Japanese markets or Amazon)
Cooking Spray (or any type of oil for hands when shaping treats)

Follow original Rice Krispies Recipe with some adjustments.

For Strawberry Treats:

Add 40 large marshmallows and 3 tbsps of butter to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1-2 minutes until marshmallows have fluffed up and butter has melted.

Mix a few drops of red food coloring to marshmallow/butter mixture until nice pink color.

Mix in Strawberry Rice Krispies Cereal until evenly coated.

Line a pan with parchment paper and spray hands with cooking spray to mold shapes.

Mold strawberry tops similarly to button mushrooms. Once finished set aside and start working on chocolate treats.

For Chocolate Treats:

Add 40 large marshmallows and 3 tbsps of butter to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1-2 minutes until marshmallows have fluffed up and butter has melted.

Mix 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder to marshmallow/butter mixture until smooth.

Mix in Cocoa Krispies Cereal until evenly coated.

Spray hands with cooking spray to mold shapes.

Cover the bottom of the strawberry mushroom shaped treats with the chocolate to finish the strawberry shape.

To make the strawberry leaves:

Cut into the jagged edge randomly along some of the lines about half way in and fold tightly every couple of lines.

Use a knife to cut a small incision into the treat where the top of the strawberry is. Cut in about a half an inch then insert the leaf about half way in. Fan out the leaves and place upside down to secure leaves in place.
