Magnus is three years old and came to the Spiral Movement Center with a diagnosis of Anxiety and Low Cognitive Flexibility. With a creative movement therapy approach tailored to his specific needs, interests, and personality, Magnus has been able to learn new skills; participate in structured activities, gain confidence, develop independence from his mother, learn new gross motor skills, and verbally communicate his needs. Planting small seeds of positivity can heal anxiety in children by giving them the means to find their natural motivation and love of life.
Adapted Spiral Praxis is a holistic body-based intervention that has helped hundreds of children with special needs and disabilities. For more information or for upcoming workshops and family intensives, visit www.adaptedspiralpraxis.com.
