Once in a great while, a project gets a hold of my interest so much, that I find that I roll out of bed with extra enthusiasm. The days end too quickly. I want to continue long after the sun quits on me. Meals are often forgotten. Even paddling a kayak didn't compare in interest to this new obsession. Not even a tweaked back could prevent me from pushing forward. My mobile workshop has turned into one of those projects. From the initial thought that a trailer could be a great way to store things and get my silver truck back in the kayak business, to actually finding one for a good price and close by on Marketplace, to this new revelation I had while sitting and thinking which emerged on paper. This design made me smile and pine rather excessively for actually seeing it come to fruition. I've had several projects in my life where I saw it in my head first and liked what I saw so much, that I couldn't stop until it was done. This one is especially nice because I get to share it with the world.
