We take the best scenic drive in America and you get to see it all. The Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park is absolutely beautiful. It's the number one thing to do at Glacier.

The 51-mile (102-mile round trip) road takes you along rivers, lakes, and of course, up through amazing mountains as you make your way to Logan Pass. When should you visit? Glacier National Park in the fall is stunning and also makes for fewer crowds.
Our Going to the Sun Road 2021video shows you all of it in 4K and includes stops at McDonald Falls, the Trail of the Cedars Logan Pass, Jackson Glacier Overlook, and more. If you're creating a Glacier National Park Plan then this needs to be at the top of the list.
We drive the West and East sides of the Road and also visit Two Medicine. This less busy area of Glacier used to be the busiest until the Going-to-the-Sun Road was completed. Now it's a great way to escape the crowds. Did we mention visiting Glacier in the Fall? That is the time to go.
