What's up guys! On today's episode of detailing with Joe, were working in a Mazda Miata that's been sitting for a few years. The Owner of the media is interested in selling the car so today I will be giving it a wash with a Decontamination (Clay bar treatment) followed by Meguiar's m21 Sealant.
I will also be steam cleaning the interior.

First I start with the wheels using Meguiar's wheel cleaner with some purple power for the tires
Then I'll start the wash getting into all the nooks and crannies!

After I rise the car I'll foam it down but not touch the car & most people would say this step is a waste but Is something I've always done with super dirty cars and makes me feel better when it comes time to touch the vehicle.

After it's been washed I'm going to clay bar starting from the top working my way down to the bottom and in this case I'm using my decon soap as a lubricant.

Next step is a engine bay detail.
Now in most cases I'll steam clean the engine bay but in this case there was a lot of dirt and spiderwebs so after covering up anything electric i pressure washed and blow out then I'll dress everything last.

Last but prob most important the interior, after wiping down everything with a Damp microfiber cloth I came back with the steam cleaner to get a deep clean as this car has been sitting for a few years.

And that's pretty much what a basic detail looks here in my garage thanks for watching, if you haven't seen my prelude build series check it out! I have a lot of awesome things planned for this build
