Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely has resigned from his post, citing constant interference from party's general secretary in-charge Deepak Babaria.
In his resignation letter to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Lovely said that he feels "handicapped" and unable to continue as the president of the Delhi Congress unit.
He stated several instances in which many Delhi Congress leaders objected to Babaria's running of the state of affairs. However, Lovely said he was under tremendous pressure to expel the disgruntled leaders who are against Babaria.
