🎶🎧 “I Dreamed A Dream,” from Les Mis. Yesterday was my Dad’s birthday. He would’ve been 72. He passed away when my oldest was 2 mos old, and never got to meet my children.

I had a birthday party (in my heart) for him all night last night, as we did karaoke. And wanted to end the night with one of the songs I had sung for him before. There weren’t many that he ever heard me sing, because it took many years for me to get my footing + confidence in that department. But this was one of my audition songs that I used to come visit him and perform before I’d go to auditions.
