South African Bongeziwe Mabandla is hands down one of the most exciting artists to emerge from the region 🇿🇦 in recent years - his blend of modern sounds with his native Xhosa folk music is simply stunning and everything he's doing from music videos to live shows is truly defining. We knew we had to do something special, and so we took him on a helicopter across the alps to a remote ice cave, where it was -15C wind chill - and despite the absolutely insane conditions, he delivered a beautiful version of Noba Bangathini. Legendary!

Zermatt Unplugged is an incredible festival nestled in the Swiss town of Zermatt, at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn mountain. Every year artists from all over the world flock there to perform in the high altitude ski town. The line-ups are exactly up our street at Mahogany and this year we ventured to some insane spots to film Mahogany Sessions.
