Here are 10 common Latin grooves played on the drum kit.
The idea of many Latin time patterns is to imitate a entire percussion section (shakers, congas, timbales etc.) using the standard drum kit. A cowbell might be necessary!
As with most drum beats, there are many variations upon each of these patterns - the videos shows just one pattern for each so you get the basic idea.
