In today's video we are going to tell you how to get better fuel mileage out of your bronco! Coltons Bronco has a 1.5 inch Fabtech level, Fuel Block wheels, Bronco letters, Bronco floor mats. He also has a 2.7 L Automatic Bronco.
We are going to be trying 3 different things to see how it affects the gas mileage. Right now colton averages about 18 mpg.
The first test is a K&N High Performance Filter. This is designed to increase HP, up to 50% more air flow, and washable. This test took the gas milage from 18 to 19.6
The next test is the MBRP Armor light exhaust. After the installation of this exhaust it brought the mpg to 19.7
The last test is the ford performance procal tuner. All you need is a computer to install this part to your Bronco. This brought the mpg to 20.1 which is quite the gain.
After all of these tests we found that the filter and exhaust are worth it, while the tuner is not due to you having to buy premium gas.
