I also like to use the RavPower Bank, (with my tripod) for extended recording time, rather than having to change out the batteries ever so often.
Note: In my opinion, and from my own recent experience, the SJ6 'Video Lapse' mode is easier and quicker, when taking bright daylight shots, but isn't nearly as easy to use for dark night work. Moonscapes and the night sky (video), can be improved greatly, by using 'Photo Lapse' mode, for better control over the exposure of each individual shot, but this mode also requires more time in the editing of the video production. Once again, I hope this information is helpful to anyone who has the SJ6, or similar action camera.
