Webster, N.Y. — Ten days after his department made a traffic stop that prompted a pair of investigations into Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley's conduct, Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier released his first public statement on the matter.

The April 22 incident came to light April 25, when Doorley released a statement explaining she had been caught speeding and, rather than pull over, called Kohlmeier to inform him she was "not a threat" and would speak to the officer at her house.

Body camera video released the next day showed Doorley berating the officer who followed her home and conducted a traffic stop in her garage.
