episode 1834 | DR ERIC WESTMAN re: Eric Berg

Dr Westman: I don't believe in the small associations &
over generalizations that claim red meat is bad for you…
Dr Berg: Best food to help you heal?
-from exercise, stress, trauma, surgery... RED MEAT
-has most protein
-30 years practice, no
patient ever had allergy
to red meat

Dr Westman: You can have allergies to red meat from
a tick bite: hives or closed throat
-if sent to allergist, blood test checking for alpha-gal
-sensitizes you to become allergic to mammalian meat
-may take years, but should decrease over time

Dr Berg: Meat has been vilified…
-truth is the opposite
-difficult to heal body without animal protein
