Comedian Andrew Heaton looks at the infamous AB5 law, often referred to as the "Uber" law. It was designed to protect freelancers by making them full employees of their companies. While this may have worked out nicely for the many unions and other well-connected industries that helped craft the law, it's been a disaster for musicians, translators, journalists, photographers, videographers, translators and of course, ride share drivers.
