In this video we'll look at the offense that Steve Sarkisian, the new head coach of the UT Longhorns football team, ran with the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2020. We'll see how his offense has its roots in the system that Norm Chow ran with the BYU Cougars, as developed by Doug Scovil at the direction of HC LaVell Edwards. We'll then see how he added in some play-action and a more downfield-oriented passing attack after his time with Norv Turner and the Oakland Raiders, before spending 14 years developing and updating his pro-style offense with some of the most popular trends in offensive football.
