Railway transport in Cambodia has suffered from wars and general insecurity in the country. The infrastructure was rotting by the early 2000s. Attempts to restore them did not work until 2016 with the recommissioning of the Phnom Penh–Sihanoukville railway line, which is 264 km long. It`s a about 7 hours long ride (10min stops in Takeo and Kambot) in the lovely south of this amazing Country.
