Remote Area Medical is a community-based initiative aiming to provide medical assistance to underserved areas. It addresses immediate needs such as dental care, vision care, and general medical services for individuals who may have lacked access to these services for an extended period. This documentary highlights the challenges faced by individuals in accessing healthcare, including financial limitations, lack of transportation, and pride preventing them from seeking help.
