I don't really discuss minor perks too much because I think they're a matter of preference for most people. That being said, I do end up preferring range on a lot of primary weapons for both PvE and PvP. I don't value handling in PvE basically at all outside of a very specific circumstance like swapping to an Auto-Loading rocket, nor do I value stability that much either since I play on PC. If you have some sort of reload speed perk on the weapon, I don't think you NEED a reload masterwork.

Piece of Mind - Arrowhead Brake for recoil, High Cal
Sweet Sorrow - Already pretty accurate, I'll go range here.
Under Your Skin - Go for better draw times, maybe accuracy if you want it.
Thoughtless - Mag size and range for me.
Explosive Personality - Higher velocity.
Recurrent Impact - Could treat it like a primary, this might want some recoil control though.
