The reason is the presence of methane gas in Uranus's atmosphere. When sunlight passes Uranus's atmosphere it is reflected back by Uranus's clouds. Now methane gas absorbs the red portion of this reflected light while it reflects the blue-green portion into space, as a result Uranus appears blue-green in color.
