2003 was an incredible year and it was the year that my song Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) with The Darkness almost reached Christmas Number 1, one of the most coveted spots on the charts. We were beaten at the last moment by Gary Jules's "Mad World" and went back down to number two despite being number one midweek. Was I robbed?! Or did Mad World deservedly win?
