How To Move Your Mac Photos Library To An External or Different Drive. We got a fair bit of questions in regards to how to move your photos library to another hard drive or somewhere else on your Mac. So before we get into the photos training, we figured that we would make this quick video showing how easy it is to relocate your photo library. Again this means that you can move the library to an external drive or somewhere else on the same drive. Just be aware that if you do move the photo library somewhere else that drive has to be available when you want to open the photo software or want to access the photos in that library.
