It allowed me to bring a fresh energy to a beloved classic and create a memorable moment that pays homage to the original film. The excitement of modernizing it was an incredible joy! 🎤💫

Working with Sabrina Carpenter and reuniting with my friend from Descendants, Sophia Carson, was an absolute highlight. Both of these incredible performers not only possess immense talent but are also wonderful people to collaborate with. As we delved into the choreography, the challenge was to make it feel unchoreographed—spontaneous, as if we hadn't planned a thing. We approached it gradually, building layers to create a journey for the characters. We started with Sabrina's character being timid about rapping and gradually guided her towards gaining confidence. Each layer added complexity and depth, allowing the audience to connect and the cast members to join in a uniform dance created on the fly. 🎶🔥

The process was a collaborative exploration, as we added and refined elements to achieve that perfect balance between structured choreography and the illusion of spontaneity.
